Doctorate in TCM
SWISS TCM UNI offers the Dr./PhD programme at the third level of study for those interested in a doctorate who meet the admission requirements. This is a scientifically orientated path in which demanding research work in the field of basic and clinical research is to be carried out and which is completed with the title ‘Dr./PhD in TCM’.
Doctoral students work at the interface between teaching and research. The core of the doctorate is the acquisition of scientific expertise through a personal and original contribution to research. The acquisition of specialised, methodological and transversal knowledge and skills are central objectives. The same applies to academic socialisation and networking.
Interdisciplinary work should be promoted across institutional structures. The independent doctorate is the classical form of the doctorate. It makes it possible to organize the time available to a high degree of individuality. It, therefore, requires a particularly high degree of independence and self-motivation.
